GardnerLakeSewer

LG-Kill Creek #2-Lateral Sewer District #1. The Kansas Department of Health and the Environment has a State Revolving Fund Loan Program that has been approved for the potential low pressure sewer project for the Gardner Lake Area. The program allow for a low interest loan of 2.75% over a 20 year period for residents in the proposed sewer district. It also calls for 40% principle forgiveness on the project for the residents as well. Given these new developments, Johnson County Wastewater held two informational meetings on March 31 and April 5, 2011, to discuss the new program and how it affects the residents of Gardner Lake. Another new development with this program is the ability to finance the installation of the grinder pump unit and connection fees for each home. These numbers are available in Figure 2 on the JCW website (http://www.jcw.org/engGardnerLake.htm). The maps and cost sheets were distributed at the informational meetings and are being mailed to each property owner in the proposed sewer district. - The presentation from the information meeting held on April 5, 2011, is also posted on JCW website.
